Release 4.2.2 is a service release of firmware/software for all In-Sight 1720 series wafer readers. This installation package includes updated In-Sight Explorer software, firmware, and documentation Release 4.2.2 contains several changes and fixes to known issues, including: - Image filters in rotated and curved regions - Semifont support for the non-standard '#' character - Reading single character OCR marks - Automatic fielding for OCR marks Scrollbars for the wafer ID application on small displays - Horizontal image scrollbar After installing, read the Cognex Wafer ID 4.2.2 Release Notes for a complete list of changes and fixes contained in 4.2.2. NOTE: A Firmware Upgrade Program (FUP) license is required to upgrade 1720 Series readers running 3.4.4 and earlier firmware versions to 4.2.2. Contact your Cognex sales representative for details.
